How to evaluate the quality of shock absorbers can be approached from two aspects:
Manufacturing quality: refers to the quality of the shock absorber itself, including its reliability, durability, oil leakage, abnormal noise, and consistency with manufacturing quality.
Matching quality: refers to how the performance of the shock absorber matches the smoothness and handling stability of the entire vehicle. In other words, a high-quality shock absorber installed on car A performs exceptionally well on the overall performance of the vehicle, but it does not mean that it still performs brilliantly when installed on car B. The reason for this is the issue of whether it matches the entire vehicle reasonably. As is well known, the damping characteristics of a high-performance sports car's shock absorbers are adjusted at any time (manually or automatically) according to changes in road conditions. When driving on bad roads, the damping is greater, while when driving on good roads, it is weaker. This is still necessary for the same car, let alone for two cars with different parameters.
