In order to help car owners better protect their vehicles, Muno collected and analyzed data on damaged shock absorbers
1. Improper use or misuse
Shock absorber damage caused by severe impact
This is mainly caused by the pressure on the shock absorber exceeding the design standards. In off-road and other environments, such situations may occur when the wheels collide with rocks on the roadside or when the vehicle jumps. Possible structural damage includes bending or breaking of the piston rod, damage to the suspension system, bending or breakage of the shock absorber housing, and damage to internal components.
2. Damage to pneumatic springs caused by improper use
When the rubber cup in the pneumatic spring of the load compensation damper is damaged, this fault will occur, and the resulting rupture will cause air leakage, thereby rendering the compensation system ineffective.
3. Damage to the shock absorber liner caused by overload
Due to excessive overload of the shock absorber liner, the liner is prone to serious damage
